Thank you from Berkshire Fantasy Football

This is going to be a quick post. I just wanted to say thank you to all of you that read my posts and interacted with me throughout this NFL season. I will not be providing fantasy advice for the NBA, NHL, or MLB, as I have little to no knowledge in these sports. Instead I plan on providing reports on specific players, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses while recapping this past season. I will try to be providing these reports once a week. Again, thank you all who supported me in this first season and I hope I helped with your respective leagues or provided you all with enjoyable content.

All aboard the Wentz-Wagon?

Week 8 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Carson Wentz (Eagles)- The number 7 QB this season is Wentz , who gets a Cowboys team that has been beaten up in recent weeks. No matter who Wentz has had to throw to this season, all he has done is put up big numbers. Through all the injuries to the wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends, Wentz has been able to cover up the Eagle’s deficiencies. The Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the NFL across the board. The Cowboys are 23rd against QBs, 24th for RBs, 25th for WRs, and 23rd for TEs. These rankings paint a picture of a defense that can be shredded. Further, the Cowboys have allowed on average 20.71 points to QBs. With Travis Fulgham being a steady contributor, the two should be able to tear apart the Cowboys defense.   Dereck Carr (Raiders)- This game against the Browns has the makings to be a high scoring affair. Both defenses are poor when it comes to defending opposing QBs and WRs. The Browns last week were in a shootout...

That’s the way we became the BRADY BUNCH!

Week 9 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Tom Brady (Buccaneers)- Brady gets one of the easier matchups this week when he goes up against the Saints. This season Brady ranks as the 5th QB, he has put up solid numbers all season, with the exception of the Panthers game in Week 2. Getting back to the game this week, the Saints put up little challenge to QBs (27th), WRs (23rd), and TEs (30th). The Saints defense has been thrown on this season, and with strong WRs, and TEs on the Buccaneers, Brady should be able to put up another big performance. Plus you should be looking to stack Brady with either Mike Evans or Rob Gronkowski .   Josh Allen (Bills)- Allen gets one of the best matchups anyone could ask for this week. He gets a Seahawks team that doesn’t know how to stop, or even slow down the pass. The Seahawks are ranked 31st against QBs, and have allowed 25.40 points. The stats that the Seahawks have allowed this season for QBs is shocking for the once fabled Legion of Boom. They h...

Hail to the King

Week 14 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Ryan Tannehill (Titans)- After putting up 389 passing yards, 3 TDs, and 1 Int, against a decent Browns defense, this week against the Jaguars should be just as good. The Jaguars have been at the bottom of the league all year when it comes to defending QBs and over the last four weeks, not much has changed. In this time the Jags have allowed the second most passing yards, 1,155, while also giving up the most passing TDs in this span. Although with A.J. Brown banged up, most of the passing game could go through Corey Davis . Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers)- This should be a decent bounce back game for the Steelers if the weather cooperates. After a tough game against the Washington Football Team, which is one of the better defenses against the pass, to get the Bills is a gift. As of recently, the Bill have allowed on average 22.33 fantasy to QBs with a 64% completion rate, 877 passing yards and 5 TDs. A big bulk of this increase are the 2 rushing TDs ...
