Welcome to the Berkshire Fantasy Football Blog!

Welcome to the Berkshire Fantasy Football Blog! This blog will be geared toward daily and season long fantasy football. I will be going through weekly games, highlight top performers, discuss how player injuries will impact fantasy decisions, and talk through potential waiver wire targets for upcoming weeks. I intend to publish two to three blog posts a week, typically between Monday and Friday.

To give you all a little background about myself, my name is Brian Kelly and I am an attorney in Massachusetts. I have always had a passion for football and I would like to put my healthy obsession and (extensive) knowledge about football to use. I hope you all find this blog to be helpful. My vision is that this blog will provide some insight into the game and be an asset for all who use it. Thank you for coming to the Berkshire Fantasy Football Blog.

Just so this is clear and out in the open I am a Packers fan which may cause a bit of bias to come through in my writing.

Enjoy,

Brian Kelly

All aboard the Wentz-Wagon?

Week 8 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Carson Wentz (Eagles)- The number 7 QB this season is Wentz , who gets a Cowboys team that has been beaten up in recent weeks. No matter who Wentz has had to throw to this season, all he has done is put up big numbers. Through all the injuries to the wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends, Wentz has been able to cover up the Eagle’s deficiencies. The Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the NFL across the board. The Cowboys are 23rd against QBs, 24th for RBs, 25th for WRs, and 23rd for TEs. These rankings paint a picture of a defense that can be shredded. Further, the Cowboys have allowed on average 20.71 points to QBs. With Travis Fulgham being a steady contributor, the two should be able to tear apart the Cowboys defense.   Dereck Carr (Raiders)- This game against the Browns has the makings to be a high scoring affair. Both defenses are poor when it comes to defending opposing QBs and WRs. The Browns last week were in a shootout...

That’s the way we became the BRADY BUNCH!

Week 9 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Tom Brady (Buccaneers)- Brady gets one of the easier matchups this week when he goes up against the Saints. This season Brady ranks as the 5th QB, he has put up solid numbers all season, with the exception of the Panthers game in Week 2. Getting back to the game this week, the Saints put up little challenge to QBs (27th), WRs (23rd), and TEs (30th). The Saints defense has been thrown on this season, and with strong WRs, and TEs on the Buccaneers, Brady should be able to put up another big performance. Plus you should be looking to stack Brady with either Mike Evans or Rob Gronkowski .   Josh Allen (Bills)- Allen gets one of the best matchups anyone could ask for this week. He gets a Seahawks team that doesn’t know how to stop, or even slow down the pass. The Seahawks are ranked 31st against QBs, and have allowed 25.40 points. The stats that the Seahawks have allowed this season for QBs is shocking for the once fabled Legion of Boom. They h...

The Adams Family

Week 15 Loves & Hates I decided to switch up my format for the last couple weeks of the playoffs to bring you more names rather than my write ups. I will still be writing up one player per role, but there will also be a list of other players I like for the week ahead. Enjoy, and I hope you like the content. As always be sure to follow the blog by clicking on the three lines in the top right and putting in your email. Also if you are on twitter be sure to follow me @B_FFootball. Thanks again for the support and good luck in your playoffs. Go Pack Go. Loves QBs Aaron Rodgers (Packers) Jared Goff (Rams) Matthew Stafford (Lions) Ryan Tannehill (Titans)- With all of the deficiencies the Lions have on defense I expect the likes of Tannehill and A.J. Brown to connect early and often. Last week the Lions faced off against the Packers and to my surprise, they limited Aaron Jones and the Packers RBs to a modest day. However, in doing so they neglected the passing game and allowed Rodg...
