RBs

Derrick Henry (Titans) 36.20, Jonathan Taylor (Colts) 30.50, Miles Sanders (Eagles) 29.60, Kareem Hunt (Browns) 29.00, Mike Davis (Panthers) 26.30.

TEs

Travis Kelce (Chiefs) 27.60, Mike Gesicki (Dolphins) 23.50, T.J. Hockenson (Lions) 16.30, Irv Smith Jr. (Vikings) 16.30, Robert Tonyan (Packers) 14.60.

D/ST

Washington Football Team (Opponent 49ers) 23.00, Rams (Opponent Patriots) 21.00, Cardinals (Opponent Giants) 18.00, Cowboys (Opponent Bengals) 18.00, Bears (Opponent Texans) 17.00.

Waiver Wire Targets (Rostered percentages based on standard ESPN leagues)

QB

Jalen Hurts (Eagles)- Anytime a QB can be a dual threat, you have to take notice. Hurts looked comfortable in his first start and the moment did not look too big for him. Although his throwing stats do not look great, as he went 17 of 30 for 167 and 1 TD. Typically I would not be so excited about this, but Hurts was able to add 106 rushing yards. Dual threat QBs are commodities in Fantasy Football and can push teams over the edge, and that is what Hurts can do. Even with a little bit of a tougher challenge this week against the Cardinals, the following week in most leagues’ championships he will get a Cowboys team that can be exploited. Rostered in 13.90% of leagues.

RBs

Gus Edwards (Ravens)- The beginning of the season saw Mark Ingram being the lead back, but as this year has progressed rookie J.K. Dobbins and Edwards have taken over. In this most recent game against the Brown both Dobbins and Edwards looked great. Going forward, this week the Ravens get the Jaguars who have been bad against RBs. Then in Week 16 the Ravens get the Giants, who have been fairly good this season, but as of recently they have trended down. Rostered in 24.30% of leagues.

Jeff Wilson Jr. (49ers)- The backfield for the 49ers has been a mess this season, and one we collectively have been trying to figure out. For the rest of the season, barring injury, it looks to be Raheem Mostert and Wilson Jr. from here on out. Although the stat line for Wilson Jr. didn’t look appealing, 11 carries for 31 yards and 1 TD, what is appealing is his usage. The 49ers looked to give Wilson Jr. the goal line touches, while not giving them to Mostert. Rostered in 13.80% of leagues.

WRs

Gabriel Davis (Bills)- The former UCF WR has made a name for himself this season. In each of Davis’ last three games he has scored a TD. What we should be weary of however is the lack of yards. Even with the lack of yards, Davis has seen consistent targets, and it looks like he has gained the favor of Josh Allen. If you are in a deep league this could be the WR to help.  Rostered in 8.00% of leagues.

Rashard Higgins (Browns)- Higgins has been an up and down player this season, and even after OBJ there were thoughts that Higgins would step right in and become the clear number two. However, this idea never came to fruition. What has happened in the last couple of weeks has been more inspiring for those looking for a WR. In Weeks 13 and 14 Higgins has seen 9 and 10 targets respectively and caught 6, what is even better is that he has been finding the end zone. Rostered in 3.40% of leagues.

TEs

Irv Smith Jr. (Vikings)- Smith Jr. has been a TE prospect that I have liked so some time but for some reason it has taken a bit for either him to get up to speed or the Vikings to realize how to actually use him. Smith Jr. is not your typical in-line blocking TE, but an athletic move TE that can create mismatches nearly anyplace he lines up. Against a good Buccaneers team he was able to catch 4 of his 4 targets for 63 yards and a TD. With the Bears this week and the Saints the following week he could be a sneaky play. Rostered in 4.40% of leagues.

D/ST

Browns- If you look at how good the Browns defensive line is, and you see what Haason Redick just did to the Giants you start to get a little excited. With the likes of Myles Garrett and Olivier Vernon getting after QBs and Daniel Jones still hampered by the bad hamstring, I can see constant pressure and the high likelihood of turnovers. If you already have one of the top defenses, then this is not for you, however if you have been streaming this entire season they are worth a look. Rostered in 52.90% of leagues.

All aboard the Wentz-Wagon?

Week 8 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Carson Wentz (Eagles)- The number 7 QB this season is Wentz , who gets a Cowboys team that has been beaten up in recent weeks. No matter who Wentz has had to throw to this season, all he has done is put up big numbers. Through all the injuries to the wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends, Wentz has been able to cover up the Eagle’s deficiencies. The Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the NFL across the board. The Cowboys are 23rd against QBs, 24th for RBs, 25th for WRs, and 23rd for TEs. These rankings paint a picture of a defense that can be shredded. Further, the Cowboys have allowed on average 20.71 points to QBs. With Travis Fulgham being a steady contributor, the two should be able to tear apart the Cowboys defense.   Dereck Carr (Raiders)- This game against the Browns has the makings to be a high scoring affair. Both defenses are poor when it comes to defending opposing QBs and WRs. The Browns last week were in a shootout...

That’s the way we became the BRADY BUNCH!

Week 9 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Tom Brady (Buccaneers)- Brady gets one of the easier matchups this week when he goes up against the Saints. This season Brady ranks as the 5th QB, he has put up solid numbers all season, with the exception of the Panthers game in Week 2. Getting back to the game this week, the Saints put up little challenge to QBs (27th), WRs (23rd), and TEs (30th). The Saints defense has been thrown on this season, and with strong WRs, and TEs on the Buccaneers, Brady should be able to put up another big performance. Plus you should be looking to stack Brady with either Mike Evans or Rob Gronkowski .   Josh Allen (Bills)- Allen gets one of the best matchups anyone could ask for this week. He gets a Seahawks team that doesn’t know how to stop, or even slow down the pass. The Seahawks are ranked 31st against QBs, and have allowed 25.40 points. The stats that the Seahawks have allowed this season for QBs is shocking for the once fabled Legion of Boom. They h...

Hail to the King

Week 14 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Ryan Tannehill (Titans)- After putting up 389 passing yards, 3 TDs, and 1 Int, against a decent Browns defense, this week against the Jaguars should be just as good. The Jaguars have been at the bottom of the league all year when it comes to defending QBs and over the last four weeks, not much has changed. In this time the Jags have allowed the second most passing yards, 1,155, while also giving up the most passing TDs in this span. Although with A.J. Brown banged up, most of the passing game could go through Corey Davis . Ben Roethlisberger (Steelers)- This should be a decent bounce back game for the Steelers if the weather cooperates. After a tough game against the Washington Football Team, which is one of the better defenses against the pass, to get the Bills is a gift. As of recently, the Bill have allowed on average 22.33 fantasy to QBs with a 64% completion rate, 877 passing yards and 5 TDs. A big bulk of this increase are the 2 rushing TDs ...
