My name is Alexander Mattison . . . just you wait.

Top Performers (Points are based off PPR formats)

QBs

Patrick Mahomes (Chiefs) 29.70, Ryan Fitzpatrick (Dolphins) 27.68, Justin Herbert (Chargers) 27.36, Kyler Murray (Cardinals) 26.30, Deshaun Watson (Texans) 24.86.

RBs

Mike Davis (Panthers) 29.90, Todd Gurley (Falcons) 25.00, Miles Sanders (Eagles) 23.90, Ezekiel Elliot (Cowboys) 23.50, Josh Jacobs (Raiders) 22.50.

WRs

Chase Claypool (Steelers) 42.60, Travis Fulgham (Eagles) 31.20, Brandin Cooks (Texans) 30.10, Adam Thielen (Vikings) 29.30, Mike Williams (Chargers) 27.90.

TEs

Travis Kelce (Chiefs) 24.80, Mark Andrews (Ravens) 17.60, Darren Waller (Raiders) 15.80, Mike Gesicki (Dolphins) 14.10, Darren Fells (Texans) 13.70.

K

Jason Sanders (Dolphins) 21.00, Graham Gano (Giants) 20.00, Will Lutz (Saints) 14.00, Ryan Succop (Buccaneers) 13.00, Greg Zuerlein (Cowboys) 13.00.

D/ST

Ravens (Opponent Bengals) 26.00, Browns (Opponent Colts) 13.00, Dolphins (Opponent 49ers) 12.00, Rams (Opponent Washington Football Team) 12.00, Colts (Opponent Browns) 11.00, Giants (Opponent Cowboys) 11.00.

Injuries

Dak Prescott (Cowboys)- During the game versus the Giants, Prescott sustained a horrific injury. Prescott suffered a compound ankle fracture and dislocation. This injury not only impacts owners who have Prescott, but also those who roster Amari Cooper, Ceedee Lamb, Michael Gallup, and Dalton Schultz. We will have to see how these targets will be used going forward. Mainly, we will see if Andy Dalton can provide even half of the production of Prescott.

Dalvin Cook (Vikings)- Cook sustained a groin injury in the game against the Seahawks. Although Cook came back after sustaining the injury, these soft tissue injuries can linger as we have seen with Julio Jones. Cook is set to have an MRI this week to understand the severity of the injury. So those of you that have Cook should stay tuned to the waiver claims.

Waiver Wire (Rostering percentages is based off ESPN leagues)

QBs

Teddy Bridgewater (Panthers)- After another strong performance, Bridgewater made the case that he needs to be rostered, and a starter. With Bridgewater gaining more comfort with the receivers I think he will be consistently towards the top for QBs. Although Bridgewater was not a top performer this week, he registered 313 yards passing with 2 touchdowns for 20.82 points. These solid numbers should be enough to warrant rostering. Rostered in 42.5% of leagues.

Justin Herbert (Chargers)- Even in another gut wrenching loss, Herbert played very well. His stats for the game are 264 yards passing and 4 touchdowns. This continued success by Herbert should be enough to warrant rostering. Herbert even produced these numbers with his top WR Keenan Allen sidelined in this game with a back injury. If Herbert is not rostered in your leagues, he should be. Rostered in 35.6% of leagues.

RBs

Alexander Mattison (Vikings)- With Cook sustaining a groin injury it looks like the next man up Mattison should be inline for an increase in offensive snaps. The offense and specifically the run scheme for the Vikings is very friendly to RBs and allows them to shine. This opportunity for Mattison should provide similar points in the offense that Cook had been putting up this season. If Mattison is not rostered he should be one of the priority waiver claims this week. Rostered in 41.6% of leagues.

Chase Edmonds (Cardinals)- This past week showed all of us that Edmonds is the back in the Cardinals offense that will be receiving the passing targets. But even more so this game showed that Edmonds is the back to roster. Edmonds outscored the starter Kenyon Drake. If the weeks that come continue to have these stat lines then Edmonds is the better roster option than Drake. Rostered in 46.5% of leagues.

WRs

Chase Claypool (Steelers)- This should come as no surprise, as Claypool has seen his snaps and involvement in this offense increase each week. With his breakout game this past week, Claypool looks to be the number 2 WR for the Steelers going forward. The Steelers invested a high draft pick in Claypool during the 2020 draft. With Dionte Johnson and James Washington not providing as much as the team had wanted, Claypool looks to provide the spark and compliment JuJu Smith-Schuster. Rostered in 8.8% of leagues.

Mecole Hardman (Chiefs)- With Sammy Watkins dealing with an injury he sustained in the game this past week Hardman looks to be the next inline for his spot. Hardman has had a quiet start to the season thus far, but with his talent and athleticism he could go off at any moment. With Watkins now sidelined for a couple of weeks, Hardman should be able to take advantage and produce. Rostered in 37.5% of leagues.

TE

Austin Hooper (Browns)- Over the past two weeks Hooper has led the team in targets. Let that sink in, Hooper! Not OBJ or Jarvis Landry. With Hooper seeing a majority of snaps for the TEs and a large amount of the target share, you would be crazy not to pick him up. The amount of targets and snaps Hooper has had is the perfect recipe for consistent fantasy points. Rostered in 45.3% of leagues.

D/ST

Dolphins- Can the Dolphins provide another surprise this week? Yes, why yes they can! This week the Dolphins get the Jets who have been an embarrassment on offense. The Dolphins were able to stop the 49ers who have far more talent at the skill positions than the Jets. If the Dolphins are available and you are a player that streams defense this could be a nice risk reward. Rostered in 1.7% of leagues.

Sleepers

Trey Burton (Colts)- With very few WRs left on the Colts offense and Mo Alie-Cox suffering a knee injury, Burton is primed to reap the benefits. Burton saw 6 targets in the loss to the Browns, and this number was the most of any TE for the Colts. Because Burton seems to be getting the targets for the TEs, he is worth a look for teams with a void at TE. Rostered in 0.2% of leagues.

Travis Fulgham (Eagles)- The seemingly unknown receiver has had quite the impact this past week. In the previous two weeks he has seen 16 targets and has caught 12 for 209 yards and 2 touchdowns. Relying on the touchdowns is not the smartest idea, but the fact that Fulgham has seen substantial targets is eye opening. The Eagles have experienced numerous injuries to their WRs and this has opened the door for Fulgham. Fulgham led the team with 13 targets catching 10 for 152 and a touchdown and became the 2nd top performer for WRs. This week Fulgham gets the Ravens who will be a stronger test. For the time being Fulgham could be a sneaky addition, but we will have to see how his play time is impacting once DeSean Jackson, Alshon Jeffery, and Jalen Reagor return. Maybe the strong connection that he and Carson Wentz have developed will allow him to maintain his spot. For the time being this could be a nice addition. Rostered in 0.2% of leagues.

All aboard the Wentz-Wagon?

Week 8 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Carson Wentz (Eagles)- The number 7 QB this season is Wentz , who gets a Cowboys team that has been beaten up in recent weeks. No matter who Wentz has had to throw to this season, all he has done is put up big numbers. Through all the injuries to the wide receivers, running backs, and tight ends, Wentz has been able to cover up the Eagle’s deficiencies. The Cowboys have one of the worst defenses in the NFL across the board. The Cowboys are 23rd against QBs, 24th for RBs, 25th for WRs, and 23rd for TEs. These rankings paint a picture of a defense that can be shredded. Further, the Cowboys have allowed on average 20.71 points to QBs. With Travis Fulgham being a steady contributor, the two should be able to tear apart the Cowboys defense.   Dereck Carr (Raiders)- This game against the Browns has the makings to be a high scoring affair. Both defenses are poor when it comes to defending opposing QBs and WRs. The Browns last week were in a shootout...

That’s the way we became the BRADY BUNCH!

Week 9 Loves & Hates Loves QBs Tom Brady (Buccaneers)- Brady gets one of the easier matchups this week when he goes up against the Saints. This season Brady ranks as the 5th QB, he has put up solid numbers all season, with the exception of the Panthers game in Week 2. Getting back to the game this week, the Saints put up little challenge to QBs (27th), WRs (23rd), and TEs (30th). The Saints defense has been thrown on this season, and with strong WRs, and TEs on the Buccaneers, Brady should be able to put up another big performance. Plus you should be looking to stack Brady with either Mike Evans or Rob Gronkowski .   Josh Allen (Bills)- Allen gets one of the best matchups anyone could ask for this week. He gets a Seahawks team that doesn’t know how to stop, or even slow down the pass. The Seahawks are ranked 31st against QBs, and have allowed 25.40 points. The stats that the Seahawks have allowed this season for QBs is shocking for the once fabled Legion of Boom. They h...
